The hotel was lovely and the staff were nice and friendly. The spa was very disappointing with a lot of things not working in the pool area and I had to ask twice for the drinking water to be replenished.

Nice Hotel, pleasant staff, good breakfast variety
Lovely staff, nice grounds to walk around, food in bar was nice but make sure you reserve a table early to get a table. Hotel room very big, nice big bed(although it's really two beds pushed together) comfy sleep though. Booked through lidl breaks and was a lot cheaper than Dunboyne hotel itself, I asked for something for my partners birthday, they left a card and some chocolates which was nice gesture. My partner got second degree burns the day before and the staff were lovely and asked if he needed anything/help. There was a bath with shower hose and a seperate shower. The breakfast next morning was lovely buffet. Loads of different options. Would like to return as we didn't get to use the swimming pool
Hotel is nice, clean and very comfortable. Service and staff were excellent but the food was very poor. The spa facilities are great but the fact that it is established as a separate entity, paid for separately and that 'slots' have to be booked, really undermines its purpose as a hotel facility.
Enjoyed our stay at Dunboyne Castle Hotel, thanks to friendly, helpful staff. Spacious room, great food, plenty to see & do in the locality. The quiet at night, no loud voices on the corridor, made this a restful stay. I will be back.
Best stay I’ve had in a long time
Lovely hotel n grounds. All staff v friendly n helpful. Food was delicious. Many Tanx. Will b back
A lovely hotel, the spa is great and staff are so friendly and helpful.
My stay was 100 per cent from start to finish Amazing place . Will be returning ..
From check in to departure was excellent. All staff were friendly, attentive and provided excellent service. A lot of different areas inside and outside to sit and relax. The only negative, if one is needed, is the limited menu in the bar. Not sure if there is a vegan option but what I had to eat was good. Would definitely go back
Only complaint would b came back a little late on Wed evening could not get food even though people around me were being served meals ...only wanted a pizza as not to delay chef ...was told could get pizza and drink to room after 11 ...should b some bit of give and take for residents ....Nice friendly staff hotel is spotless ...breakfast plenty of choice and all good
Dated rooms, slow service at meals and extra charge to use thermal suite. Comfortable but wasn't really worth the price.
Lovely hotel BUT very expensive for old aged pensioners
Ivy restaurant really over priced for what you get very limited menu we should of ordered from bar menu..Very limited lunch menu from bar food menu not enough options and very over priced.
Highly recommend this hotel
Location excellent. Staff: Polite n Obliging. Grounds: Tidy n manicured Hotel: Price affordable. Condition: Clean n Comfortable. Food? Breakfast Good Choice.
Staff are extremely friendly especially the reception staff. Loved the spa facilities. Food was also delicous and served big in the bar. The only reason I didn't give a 5 out of 5 was because they were very miserable with shower gels/shampoos/towels etc in guest rooms - catering only for one guest.
