Great location for touring Clare. Bit outdated and some repair work needed eg broken tiles , shower basin filling up. Friendly and welcoming staff.

We arrived in Logues Liscannor Hotel early on a SUNNY sat afternoon & left on mon we had a fantastic weekend many THANKS to the hotel staff they were very helpful & friendly nothing was too much trouble for them. Minor downside parts of hotel a bit dated & maybe a few menu's on the table's during the day would encourage more food sales we had to as if food was being served on sat afternoon!!! Overall it was a lovely stay & we WILL return. Oh & it was excellent value which is what people are looking in these times. Many THANK'S to LIDL

We really enjoyed our stay in Logues, Liscannor Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was great. Everything was frest, very tastly and as much as one could eat. We ate in the lounge on one evening and we were very impressed. Overall we were very pleased and would recomment the hotel to any of our friends.

The hotel was very clean. Rooms were spacious. The view was great. Breakfast was first class. Staff very helpful and friendly. The only complain was lack of entertainment in the bar at night.

My husband and I spent two nights there and we were quite happy with it, staff very friendly. Nice big room and lovely view. Corridors a bit stuffy as the heating was on and no need for it.Great little pub across the road called egans trad sessions every night. Fab seafood restaurant also called vaughans also across the road.

Didn't get the chance to stay at the hotel as although I booked through the Today Fm breaks website I was then told on the phone that the hotel was being refurbished and so I was moved to a different hotel. These things happen, but maybe it would be best to make sure people can stay in the hotel before it is advertised on the website.

Stayed for 4 nights. Hotel was basic but very clean. The staff were very pleasant and friendly and made us feel very much at home. The food was excellent. Liscannor was quiet but very nice and very convenient for travelling to see the likes of the Burren or the Cliffs of Moher. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

We got a call from Logues Hotel a few days before we left to say there wasnt enough bookings for the hotel to open so we were asked if we would move to there sister hotel Cliffs of Moher Hotel which was an up grade to a 4 star which we agreed to. When we arrived the rooms were lovely but no air conditioning, the food was just average like everything had been prepared in the morning especially the salad it was not nice. Plus with it being a 4 star hotel we thought there would at least be a sauna and steam room which there was none. Staff were very pleasent polite and helpful just hotel itself was a let down

We stayed as a family of four for two nights in June 2012. The staff were attentive and very friendly . Breakfast was good and evening meals really were very well portioned and of a high standard. The one let down was entertainment, there was no music/entertainment on Saturday night and a mediocre singer on the Sunday, very few people were in the hotel bar on these evenings and we couldn't go outside on these wet evenings with young children.

The hotel was grand, nothing fancy but then I don't do fancy so am happy enough. The staff are excellent, and all seem to be locals which was great to see a hotel supporting their community. Would I stay again, yes. Though the rooms could do with a freshening up

Baunie scored 5 / 5 on 09/05/2012

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly. Not much to do in Liscannor but it's central to other places like Doolin and Lahinch!

We stayed in Logues Liscannor Hotel, on the 3rd & 4th July. We found the staff very friendly especially in the dining area where breakfast is served and the breakfasts were very edible. The bedrooms however are only average - 2 plug points and they are suitated under the large dressing table - 2 tv chanels (No Sky ! ) ON our arrival we were checked in and given our key and when I was having a cup of coffee I noticed when I was putting in the used milk cartons that the bin was never cleaned - it was disgusting so I asked to be up graded. The up grade was much cleaner but the same suitation about the plug points!! On our first night we went to the bar for a dring and to watch the sunday game, we asked for the tv to be put on and while we were watching we noticed that the background music was made louder and the bartender was hiding up at the top of the bar (hoping we would leave, as there were no other customers) we left when the programme was over !! we did buy a drink - Eight euro for 2 drinks.. I would give this hotel 2 STARS A. O Connor

nice enough hotel but little dated. rooms are small and would need sound proofing. wehad a beautiful full height window with lovely view though and the food and staff were great. town itself was quite dead but great for tourist attractions i.e. cliffs of moher, doolin cave, inisheer island, listdoonvara, burren. i would stay again and would pay more for more modern rooms. rooms did not have safe, internet and only 2 channels on tv.

Logues is a grand little hotel. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are well up to three star standard, with the bonus of great views. We had dinner there on one of the nights. My only complaint was the size of the portions, HUGE. I had to leave about half of my enormous sirloin steak (which was tender, and rare as requested). The fire alarm went off a couple of times, but that was a minor inconvenience. For value, comfort, quality and location I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We have just spent a lovely weekend in Liscannor Co. Clare. The Hotel has a lovely charm about it. The staff are really nice and actually care how their guests are enjoying their stay in the Hotel. The Food was top class. It is really clean and very good value for money. The only negative and it is only a small one, the rooms are basic but very comfortable and clean. We will definately return again in the future that's for sure.

We had a most enjoyable stay at your hotel last weekend. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Dinner was good and plenty of it. There was not a problem when I asked for salad instead of potatoes at no extra charge. I would have liked if people had gone into the diningroom to eat instead of staying in the bar. Marie

Lovely location and nice friendly, helpful staff. The food was fine, nothing special, typical hotel fare really. The bar area was nice but the room and upstairs corridors could do with some re-decoration, a bit of brightening up.
