Bedroom comfortable - double an d2x bunk beds - kids loved them food breakfast satisfactory , evening food in bar satisfactory parking free on site on the edge of bray short drive near kilruddery n0 pool 3-3.5 stars
Had a wonderful night last Saturday in this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and could not do enoughffor us. We ate dinner there and would highly recommend, the steak was excellent.
Staff as always helpful. A little cold in the bar/reception room during early evening.
adequate hotel but needs some investment good friendly staff team breakfast good evening meal satisfactory free parking on site on outskirts of bray family room was a double and a bunk set
Excellent hotel. Meets a very high standard of cleanliness. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Great nights sleep and the choice for breakfast was amazing with both hot and cold choices. Quite limited residential seating areas but overall an excellent hotel.
Stayed 1 night with 2 children. Made very welcome on arrival. Staff very accommodating and helpful. Room was clean tidy and fresh to a high standard. Room was spacious and bathroom spotless. The hotel is situated on outskirts of Bray so no traffic/noise. Peaceful. Beautiful and tasty cooked breakfast and continental breakfast also available. On departure was informed by receptionist that my children were well behaved and no trouble. Thank you for a lovely stay. Would definitely return and highly recommend.
Nice hotel, room clean, service good. Restaurant staff, entertaining and funny especially when dealing with large coach party. Food was presented well, good choice. Buffet breakfast, good selection!!!
Hi, We bought the 2night family package which included an evening meal. It is a good location for travelling to places like boat rips, pet farms(things to do in the area). The evening meal was not a pleasant one. The kids meal was really spicy(pasta sauce) as well as the wait time between each course was really long. There was only one staff member in the dining area with 5 families(4 families with kids) waiting to be served. The room was ok(standard family room with bunk beds). Our advice to families would be is not to stay in rooms on the topmost floor as it is very warm, and there are no facilities to regulate the room temperature. On the whole, the staff were pleasant and helpful.
Friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed dinner and breakfast. Convenient location. Amazing value for money.
Staff always helpful. Rooms always clean. Always enjoy our stay. Could do with a change of dinner menu though.
lovely hotel staff very friendly food very good
My Family and I stayed here for 3 nights and found the staff both friendly and very helpful, on the lookout for everybody to make them as comfortable as possible. We watched the Brazilian soccer tragedy in the comfort of the lounge area after being served an enjoyable evening meal. The room and food was great value for money with a welcoming atmosphere. We will keep this as an option for future trips.
I found this hotel to be clean and staff very pleasant and helpful. Only fault found was that there was no dressing table mirror in bedroom, just a full length wall mirror which did not suffice when drying hair.
Staff were very friendlly... Could not do enough for us. The hotel is located in an ideal area..... close to all visitor attractions and not far from City centre. Food was ok... We will visit again.
I recently stayed in this hotel with my wife. Where do I start? The reception area is nice and that is all it has going for it. The rooms are outdated. There was no AC in our room and even with the windows open it was still like a sauna. And the paint was falling off the ceiling in the bathroom and the shower was very small. We had our dinner in the so called restaurant. My wife ordered the pasta and it was rank and inedible, and mine wasn't much better. The room had a swarm of flies and wasps in it and looks like the windows have never been washed. Breakfast didn't fair any better. I would recommend to stay away from this hotel as u do not get what you pay for.
I recently stayed at the wilton hotel in Bray , the location was good for sight seeing and visiting the local attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful , the bedroom was clean and comfortable , we had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant and likewise the breakfast was very good, however the main reception and bar area needs attention it was shabby and it lacked comfort and space of a normal hotel considering it is the first area you see in the hotel it doesnt do the hotel any favors. i give a 3 star rating
Found the staff very helpful, polite and the rooms very clean and comfortable.
Have stayed at this hotel a lot over the last 10 years. Staff are always friendly and efficient. Food is excellent. Rooms are spacious, clean & nicely decorated. Hotel although always busy with guests, is quiet so you are guaranteed a good nights sleep. Booked 26th & 27th April 2014 - double room. Had a fab time and between the lovely buffet breakfast to the gorgeous dinners we had - all for only €49 pppn we will definitely book with Lidl Breaks.
Delicious food, friendly staff, room only ok
Stayed here overnight for a small family gathering booked a family room and a twin and more joined us for dinner and drinks. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and were very impressed with the rooms considering the price. The family room was huge more than adequate for the 2 adults and 2 children booked into it and the twin was also great with a single and double bed. Beds comfortable too!!! Area was reserved for us in the lobby and all had a great time. Breakfast was great also. Will definitely return. Thanks to all there.
Very quiet, service good. not quiet 100%. Found room rather dark and no nets on the windows meant that you could be overlook as it was on ground floor
Excellent food and service , can not fault it all , staff are very helpful and friendly
Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. Great value for money, excellent evening meal and breakfast. Will definitely return there to stay again.
Stayed here for two nights with my partner and 15 month old. It was a lovely hotel, about a 5 minute drive from the seafront and shops. It is a very family friendly hotel and the staff are very helpful if anything is needed. The room was lovely and plenty of room even with a cot. Very clean and bright hotel with lots of windows around landing areas on each floor for sun light. Rooms are quite warm at night, no need for radiator to be used. Would definitely recommend.
Stayed in a family room at this hotel for one night, two adults and two children under ten. The room was really spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty to eat at breakfast. The staff were exceptionally nice and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
As always, first class. Staff brilliant. Special mention to Abbey, Raffica and Yatta (hope the spelling is correct) They can never do enough for us, it's much appreciated and why we always come back
Great Value and very friendly helpful staff. We were just looking for a relaxing hotel break. Rooms were very comfortable, lovely bathroom and great food.
Nice hotel and a lovely brekfeast.......no restaurant open only bar food on the night we were there. A bit out of town but taxi only 8 euro.
As always, comfortable rooms, good atmosphere and ecxellent staff, always helpful. Many thanks
We stayed here for the end of mid term break and am so glad we booked here. we had a really spacious family room, and breakfast and dinner each evening which was a great move as it made the break so easy as we fell back into the hotel each evening exhausted and had our dinner. The reason I am so impressed with the staff at the wilton is how they handled our stay when 2 of our kids got sick towards the end of the stay, they were so helpful and accomodating with anything we needed, they were fantastic
Excellent service as usual. Staff very good and helpful T Hillier
I sent my parents to this hotel on a one night dinner bed and breakfast deal for their anniversary. They thought the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great, the room very spacious and they would definitely stay again. They have stayed here a few times and have always raved about it on their return.
Staff as usual very good. Room clean, tidy and comfortable. What more can I say? Would like a different menu from time to time, but food was good.
Did not think the Restaurant food was as good as it used to be, not much choice and the same menu each night. Otherwise the staff excellent as usual, and service very good.
We stayed 2 nights. The Family room was spacious and clean but pretty basic (no fluffy robes, no radio). The location is good, its only a 15-20 min walk to the sea front and the dart station. A Bus Station is just around the corner from the hotel. The food was good and the staff was exceptional friendly. Kids will love the DVD selection available at Reception.
Hotel a bit far out of town of Bray for person without car; taxis range from E6-9 each way. Hotel was basic (no fluffy robes) and small and could not cater for allergy sufferer (staff had no idea what had or had not got egg in) - seemingly products dont come in with labels of contents..so restricted in my food intake. Bed comfi.
we had a good timein the wilton, thanks to lidl holidays,i surely recommend them to my friends
Lovely quiet hotel, clean, neat and tidy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was very good. Would definitely stay there again.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Gave a 4 as bar area very small and also need to change the name on hotel as was driving around for ages looking for it as is now called The Wilton!
Service excellent, staff brilliant, food great. The hotel was warm and clean. Many thanks to all
We booked in on the 25th January 2012 and were met by lovely receptionist the room we were allocated was not good so returned to reception and tranfered to another which was excellent the food and staff were all lovely yes I would stay again
I booked this hotel on a 1 night B and B and dinner basis for my parents as it was my mums birthday. They said that the receptionists and girl behind the bar were exceptionally nice. The room was large and clean. They really enjoyed the meal and overall had a great night away. They would definitely return to the Ramada.
Once again we had a lovely time in the Ramada Hotel in Bray. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is gorgeous, especially the buffet breakfast. Excellent service at a great price.
Staff excellent, always helpful. Great breakfast. For the price a lot better than Hotels at twice the cost. Thank you Lidl, thanks to all the staff at Ramada Woodland Court, Bray. Will be back soon Tess Hillier
We had a great stay . The staff were very nice and very friendly, nothing was a problem to them. The food was really good. The Family Room was nice and big and spacious. We have booked The Hotel for next Monday 18 July. Kevin Sherwin, Laytown, Co. Meath.
Very quiet hotel. Lovely comfortable beds and great breakfast. 2 reception staff very unhelpful. We had booked 2 nights Dinner B+B but were told we had only I dinner included. Had to get my son at home to access my email (i didn't have laptop with us) and forward lidl breaks confirmation email to hotel and then they finally agreed to give us the second nights dinner. Just make sure t bring confirmation with you.
We had a fantastic time in Bray last weekend Hotel was excellant, really good breakfast room was excellant, very big, we had a family room that had great facilities
Fantastic rate from Lidl. Very happy with the cost of the stay. Hotel was nice. Have stayed here before. Dinner and breakfast very good. However, the bed sheet was badly stained... not noticed until the morning. Otherwise, a great stay.
The Room was spacious, lovely breakfast and dinner and the staff were very friedly. Would definately recommend the hotel and would stay there again.
This hotel has good and bad points, it is cheap and staff are helpful. We were part of a group of 12 on a family break for three nights. The first room that we were given smelled damp and musty(room 115), we asked to be moved and this was done without any problem. The breakfast was nice and had a reasonable selection .We ate dinner there twice and the food was quite nice, there was a shortage of staff, we had to look for staff both nights so that we could order drinks and again to get the bill. It was a convenient base with a large room, you get what you pay for. I would stay here again for the location and at the price it is good value for money.
Lovely quiet hotel with spacious rooms. Food excellent and staff friendly & helpful. We stayed 2 nights B & B with 2 course dinner both nights - great value - will be back
very good food value and service. A little far out of town. Friendly helpful staff and lovely food.
Hi Hotel room was nice Not a great choice on the dinner menu %u20AC25.00 per head. We arrived back at the hotel late in the evening and the radiator in the room was turned off so the room was very cold. We turned it on and it made noise for the rest of the night. Breakfast was nice apart from the noise of the extractors in the dining room. We had a late drink in the bar which was very expensive %u20AC8.50 for brandy with a dash of port? This hotel is a bit too far from the town 20 min walk. I d'ont think we will will return. Martin
We enjoyed our stay but the radiator in our room was turned off and it was quiet cold when we returned in the evening. We had to turn on the radiator and it was very noisy during the night. The breakfast was very good but the noise from the air conditioning in the dining area was very loud. A little bit too far from the town room was very nice. Drinks in the bar was very pricey %u20AC8.50 for brandy with a dash of port? Martin

I taught the hotel was very shabby,We stayed in room 114 and the curtains were cover in stains and the bathroom smelled and was not clean. We went for dinner at 6.15 and there was no one in the resturant to greet us and show us to our seats. The dinner was disgusting,i had roast beef and potatoes and they honestly tasted like reheats from the night before. The breakfast was ok. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone. School kids in room 113 and 115 kept us awake all night with noise. The hotel is well under staffed.
It was one of the worst experience I had in the hotels. It was noisy. The windows were untidy. Despite 4 glasses there was no water in the rooms ( in the bar they had one last little bottle left to sell us...) and it seemed the bed linen was not changed. There was not remote control to the TV as well. I'm sure I will never come back
The hotel was excellent.Good sized room and full facilities.Ample car parking. The quality of the breakfast was also excellent and we liked the self service aspect which allowed you to eat as much or as little as you preferred. The staff were friendly and courteous. All in all a good experience/ Tom and Evelyn Ahern.
The staff were very helpful and pleasant especially Therese on Reception. The kids were made very welcome. The rooms were a good size and beds very comfy but it was far too warm at night and so hard to sleep. Breakfast was lovely - could find no faults there. It was a little too far out of Bray for my liking. All in all a lovely hotel and good value for money.
My husband and I were very happy with our stay in the Ramada. We only spent two nights had breakfast each morning which was second to none but unfortunately did not have any other meals so we will be back to sample the dinner menu. The bedroom was lovely and the staff were very accomodating. I think the Lidll breaks are the best value for money that I know of.
Disappointed with the family room, ceiling was badly damaged after a water leak, unfinished plastering and not painted. Room was VERY hot, windows could only be opened about 8cm. Plumbing was terrible, the water would stop for up to 30 seconds when using the shower and a noise similar to an elephant resulted after the toilet was flushed. Breakfast was good, reasonable choice, bar food and restaurant was also good. Staff are friendly. Rooms were not cleaned every day and the internal telephone didn't work. The hotel was good value for money but I would not stay there again and would not recommend it.
Excellent value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful, we stayed with 2 small children. Meal choices from set menu or bar menu which was very beneficial. Honesty the only downside for us was the chefs caesar salad was rather unusual but was changed to a normal caesar salad on our request. Well worth the visit
Hotel very pleasant. Staff were very friendly. No complaints. Dont like idea of television area just as you enter front door, but apart from that, we were very happy with stay and Lidl break was good value. Rate ****
Disappointed with hotel, more like a hostel. Had dinner and bed and breakfast, dinner very poor. Would not recommend this hotel.
